Now Entering its third Unspeakable Year!

For the last two years, Studio Wondercabinet (i.e., Daniel and I) has created and crowdfunded production of a set of original holiday cards illustrated by yours truly and inspired by the writings of H.P.Lovecraft and his ilk. The series started in 2015 as a personal challenge to produce a set of Christmas cards whimsically celebrating Lovecraft's stories of the Cthulhu Mythos. In 2016 I drew on the works of one of Lovecraft's own inspirations, the King in Yellow story cycle of Robert W. Chambers.  The Lovecraftian community has been very supportive - the Kickstarters have been demanding but wonderful, a stage dive into the arms of a mob of like-minded. literate strangers who love us for being strange.  We're already planning the 2017 set.

Below the next image are links to my blog posts from 2016's "King in Yellow Xmas" card campaign.  For a more detailed look at the actual campaign, visit our actual 2016 Kickstarter Page, The King in Yellow Christmas Cards, to see the posts and images from the actual crowdfunding process.
